Love art? Love Thai food? Then this is another dining area that you should go. We had a delicious and delightful Thai dinner there yesterday together with our friends, three of them.
This newly opened restaurant serving Thai cuisine is located at the upper ground floor in the Hills shopping mall in Kuching town.
The gallery effect of the restaurant provided us a superior fine dining ambiance. There is a exotic VIP room for private/corporate dining. I like most the water curtains, it gives more live to the restaurant. Every angle of the restaurant is a piece of art. We enjoyed a lot from the artistic atmosphere to the delightful unique Thai cuisine.
We ordered the restaurant's 3 - 4 pax dinner package and add on dishes are allowed, just pick any recommended dish (marked with star) from the menu.
Thai style salad - Spicy Sotong Salad, sour from the onions and tomatoes, spicy from the chili padi together with some coriander and spring onions make the dish a superb appetizer.
My saliva was accumulating at the back of my tongue when the Tom Yam Chickens was served. Yum...Yum..
The next dish, Pandan Leaf Chicken. Its smell tells everything, it is just too good to describe. The leaf can be eaten together with the chicken too!
Deep Fried Kai Lan is another recommended dish from the kitchen. Innovatively tasty!
Our package dinner cost RM58 for 3 to 4 person. They also offer 5 to 7 pax dinner package cost RM 80. 4 types of dishes are served for each package and the dishes served are subjected to change.
Prawn crackers are served with RM 3 charge. The only downside is the 10% service charge and 6% tax.

Warm, welcoming staff. Delicious Thai food. Yummy desserts and…. OOOOOH SO GOOD COFFEE! Would highly recommend dining at ABSLOLUTE TRIBAL while in Kuching. Ask for Mr. Goh. He makes a mean cuppa coffee
